Callaway Opus Sp Plus Wedge

Callaway Opus SP+ Chrome Wedge The Callaway Opus SP+ Chrome Wedge has been engineered for golfers seeking enhanced trajectory control, increased spin consistency and tour-level short game performance. Combining innovative weighting technologies with a refined tour-inspired profile, the Opus SP+ helps players attack pins with confidence while delivering exceptional feel around the greens. Developed using Callaway's advanced Spin Pocket+ Construction, precision tungsten weighting and the latest Spin Gen 2.0 face technology, the Opus SP+ promotes a flatter, more controllable ball flight without sacrificing stopping power. The result is a wedge that excels on full approach shots, controlled knock-downs and delicate scoring shots. SPIN POCKET+ TECHNOLOGY The three-piece head construction allows Callaway engineers to reposition mass higher within the clubhead. By moving the centre of gravity upward, the Opus SP+ produces a more penetrating trajectory with increased spin and greater control throughout the scoring zone. HIGH-DENSITY TUNGSTEN WEIGHTING More than 13 grams of strategically positioned tungsten further elevates the centre of gravity to promote stronger flight characteristics and improved distance consistency. This design helps golfers generate controlled spin while maintaining predictable launch windows. SPIN GEN 2.0 FACE DESIGN The latest groove geometry combines a 17-degree groove wall angle with tighter spacing and an aggressive laser-etched face texture. Together, these technologies create increased friction at impact for enhanced spin generation from both clean fairway lies and challenging rough. TOUR-INSPIRED SHAPE 6 PROFILE Shape 6 represents the final stage of Callaway's tour validation process, resulting in a compact, confidence-inspiring profile preferred by elite players. The refined leading edge and carefully crafted sole geometry provide exceptional versatility around the greens. PREMIUM CHROME FINISH A durable chrome finish delivers a traditional, premium appearance while complementing the clean shaping of the wedge. The polished aesthetic appeals to golfers who prefer a classic look at address. LOWER FLIGHT. MORE CONTROL. The combination of elevated CG placement and aggressive face technology allows golfers to flight the ball lower while maintaining high spin rates. This provides greater control in windy conditions and improved stopping power on firm greens.
