TaylorMade 2026 P790 Irons Steel Shafts

TaylorMade’s incredible P790 irons offer superior performance, combined with forgiveness and premium feel, making these irons a fantastic choice for a broad range of players. These irons offer mid-high launch and mid-low spin, with a neutral flight bias. Individual head optimisation and modal analysis is combined with SpeedFoam Air to create best in class feel with explosive sensation at impact. An all-new ultra-high strength, high speed forged face constructed from 4340M is 20% stronger than previous generations of P790. This increased strength unlocks a thinner face and faster ball speeds while simultaneously increasing the sweet spot size by up to 24%. FLTD CG creates precise centre of gravity for increased carry distance, stability and spin windows for gapping throughout the set. An even lower CG in the long irons enhances launch and playability, while higher CG improves spin rates and control in the scoring clubs. A thinner topline creates a cleaner look at address, with an increased sole radius and progressive leading edge designed for consistent turf interaction and improved impact location.
