Ping 2026 G440 Hybrid

Ping G440 Hybrids The Ping G440 Hybrids are engineered for golfers of all skill levels, offering specific design features that enhance various ball-flight patterns. From the fade-biased 2-hybrid, which excels off the tee, to the draw-biased 5, 6, and 7 hybrids that improve shot gapping, these clubs provide versatility and precision for every golfer's needs. These hybrids feature a new, shallower face design and reduced thickness, boosting ball speed and launching the ball higher, which allows players to hit greens with improved consistency. The multi-material head construction (featuring stainless steel, maraging steel, and carbon) results in a low center of gravity (CG) for enhanced ball speed, translating into greater distance with each strike. The Ping G440 Hybrids come with a slimmed-back weight and contoured sole design that ensures the club sits flush with the ground, maintaining a consistent face angle. This design guarantees smoother turf interaction, offering better control and more accurate shots from various lies. Whether you're hitting from the tee or fairway, these hybrids provide optimal distance and accuracy for all course situations. REDESIGNED FACE STRUCTURE The Ping G440 Hybrids feature a face that is 8% shallower to help golfers strike higher on the face, promoting better launch conditions. Additionally, the 6% thinner face improves ball speed across the central area of the face, while ensuring controlled speed on off-center hits. This innovative design enables golfers to achieve greater distance and accuracy, even on mis-hits. FREE-HOSEL TECHNOLOGY With the introduction of Free-Hosel Technology, the Ping G440 Hybrids save 4g of weight by removing mass from the hosel, screw, and heel section. This weight-saving feature lowers the CG by 12%, increasing launch angle and stopping power, all while maintaining ball speed. The lowered CG and reduced face height work together to enhance overall performance, especially when hitting from the turf. CONTOURED SOLE DESIGN The Contoured Sole Design of the Ping G440 Hybrids improves turf interaction by reducing the back-weight profile. This allows the club to sit flatter on the ground, maintaining a consistent face angle. When combined with the adjustable hosel, this design offers multiple loft and lie options, enabling golfers to fine-tune their ball flight for the best results based on their individual swing characteristics. EXTENSIVE LOFT OPTIONS The Ping G440 Hybrids are available in various lofts, catering to golfers of all abilities. The 2-hybrid (17 degrees) features a slightly fade-biased design with a more penetrating flight for off-the-tee use. The 3 (20 degrees) and 4 (23 degrees) hybrids offer a neutral flight path and greater stopping power for higher launches. The 5 (26 degrees), 6 (30 degrees), and 7 (34 degrees) hybrids feature a slight draw bias, enhancing accuracy and providing optimal gapping into an iron set. CARBONFLY WRAP CROWN The CarbonFly Wrap Crown in the Ping G440 Hybrids saves weight by redistributing mass to lower the CG. This redistribution not only improves forgiveness but also enhances performance. The result is a more forgiving club with a satisfying, muted sound at impact, improving both the feel and acoustics of the club during play. TRAJECTORY TUNING 2.0 ADJUSTABLE HOSEL The Trajectory Tuning 2.0 Adjustable Hosel in the Ping G440 Hybrids offers 8 settings for loft (±1.5 degrees) and lie (up to 3 degrees flatter than standard), allowing golfers to adjust their ball flight to suit their preferences. This ability to fine-tune launch angles ensures golfers can customise their shots based on their swing characteristics and course conditions for the best possible results.
