The Recumbent 8.5R introduces groundbreaking neurological programmes such as Symmetry, a programme that assess and quantifies the balance of power between the left and right leg throughout the rotation and Power Distribution shown in watts, all of which contributes further to an accelerated recovery. The 8.5R provides a fully adjustable and removable seat for easy wheelchair access. The 25.5 cm (10”) Touch Screen console is on a 360 degree Articulating Arm and features the Beacon. The Beacon is atop of the console and efficiently assesses exercise intensity, providing a quick visual signal to physical therapists regarding their patients’ progress.The Auto Brake System puts user safety at the forefront. The Auto Brake uses advanced sensing technology and software, that automatically halts the flywheel when it detects the user’s attempt to stop pedalling. It is achieved by applying a braking force to eliminate pedal inertia but as an added layer of safety there is a mechanical brake lever that engages by simply pressing down.
